Ursa Major Cabin is named for the constellation "Big Bear", (Big Dipper) in the Milky Way Galaxy. Located on a five-acre nature preserve with a private hot tub, fire circle, and outdoor area, this is our favorite accommodation for groups of four. Located just 10 minutes from the NADA tunnel and 12 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, this is the ideal cabin for exploration and adventure in the RRG.
Explore trails by day and sit back and relax around the fire circle and view stars at night. Or sit and view stars from the hot tub out back. This property has everything you need for a wonderful vacation in the RRG.
Full sized Kitchen: Electric Stove top/Oven, Full sized fridge/freezer, Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, bar, bar stools, counter space.
Dining room: Solid wood table with four chairs
Living room: Couch, comfy chairs, coffee table, cozy blanket, wood-burning fireplace (Firewood not provided).
Full bathroom: Bathtub/shower
Bedrooms: Two private bedrooms each with a queen bed.
Outside:
Hang out area: Propane grill, table and chairs, concrete pad, fireplace.
Hot tub: Private hot tub for four people.
This cabin is located on a five-acre nature preserve, and we don't spray pesticides or herbicides. We work meticulously to prepare the property for each stay. Nevertheless, you may encounter some wildlife or insects on the property. If you're not an outdoor person, we recommend a hotel instead.
-Check-in is at 5 PM (early check-in of 3 PM is available for $45)
-Check-out is at 10 AM (late check-out of 12 PM is available for $45)
-Pets are allowed: $75/pet for the entire stay (We ask that pets are kept off of beds, bedding, and furniture. Pets must be accompanied at all times or crated if left in the cabin alone)
-Guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of booking.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: Ninety percent (90.00%) of the total booking charges (less $75.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $75.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
