Description
Chestnut Ridge cabin is small enough for a couple and large enough for a small family. This beautiful cabin is located on fifteen ridge top acres just ten miles from Natural Bridge. Take the stairs up to the newly remodeled private bedroom with a queen bed. If you need another bed, the couch pulls out in the living room. The kitchen has a full stove with oven, refrigerator with all kitchen utensils furnished. The cabin has Dish satellite and DVD player.
Chestnut Ridge has a covered porch on two sides with wood swing and a picnic table and chairs. Attached to the covered porch on the back is a deck with a large hot tub. Right off the porch is a charcoal grill, fire ring and picnic table. This cabin is secluded from the other cabins and has a private yard to enjoy.
The cabin is part of Chop Chestnut Cabins, which are a located up on a ridge surrounding by woods near to the Red River Gorge. These cabins offer a quiet retreat with views and wooded lots. Each cabin is uniquely designed featuring hot tubs and porches to enjoy the wooded area. A twelve minute drive to the Red River Gorge makes it a great home base for a day hike through the forest or visit to the Natural Bridge area. Then return to grill out in the yard and relax in the hot tubs at these cozy cabins.
-Check-in is 5 PM (early check-in of 3 PM is available for $45)
-Check-out is 10 AM (late check out of 12 PM is available for $45)
-Pets are allowed: $75/pet for the entire stay (We ask that pets are kept off of beds, bedding and furniture. Pets must be accompanied at all times or crated if left in the cabin alone)

Our cabins are located in a rural area. Wi-Fi is available at the entrance of the Chopped Chestnut Cabins, not in the cabins themselves. However, it is often not as reliable as you may be accustomed to.

The cabin was perfect for us and our pups. Cozy and warm and had everything we needed. From the electric fireplace, full kitchen, newly updated bathroom, clean hot tub, and the campfire each night with stocked wood, we loved it. Also, plenty of land for our pups to play and great wrap around deck when it was a rainy day to have coffee outside in the morning. Super close to all hiking and excursions as well and groceries only about 20 min away.
*** only minus for us was having to carry our pups up and down that staircase every morning and night with their beds so we would most likely choose another cabin next time without the staircase...but still with your rental service for sure!
