Description
Enjoy the peace, quiet and security of a log cabin with all the amenities of home along with lots of privacy. Whippoorwill Ridge is a hand hewn log cabin nestled in the mountains of Eastern KY. The cabin features a gorgeous hand built fireplace and chimney of sandstone which was quarried nearby. There are two queen bedrooms upstairs, along with a small balcony which is ideal for watching the sunset. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. and the kitchen is fully equipped. The large wraparound porch is an ideal gathering place especially during a rain.Make a fire in the fire ring in the back yard and even a wood shed if you get mesmerized by the fire and the weather changes. Soak in the hot tub after a hike around the Gorge. We are just 25 minutes from Natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Enjoy the beauty of the area in a drive or a hike and come back to a cozy evening in our home.
-Check-in is anytime after 5 PM (early check-in of 3 PM is available for $45)
-Check-out is 10 AM (late check out of 12PM is available for $45)
-Pets are allowed: $75/pet for the entire stay (We ask that pets are kept off of beds, bedding and furniture. Pets must be accompanied at all times or crated if left in the cabin alone)

We loved our stay at whippoorwild cabin. The only thing we were missing was coffee. We brought some but it would be a great idea to have some of the local coffee shops coffee available with the coffee maker. Loved all the local touches around the cabin
